SEASONAL COLOURS - SUMMER

As a Summer, you should wear gentle toning mixes of colour, much like a beautiful bouquet of flowers. 

TRUE COOL SUMMER

Your Characteristics:

EYES:  grey > light blue > soft violet

HAIR: ash blonde > silver grey > light ash brown

SKIN: a rose-blue undertone, can be English rose, such as pale with pink cheeks

You suit the mid-range colours in the Summer Palette.  Cool (True) Summer’s best colours are: mid pinks, lots of blues from denim to sky blue. Blue-Grey tones of the Summer Palette are also wonderfully appealing on you.

MOST SUITABLE COLOUR: The colour that suits you the most is Periwinkle.

LIGHT CLEAR SUMMER

Your Characteristics:

EYES:  light blue > green >  grey

HAIR: ash blonde > light ash brown

SKIN:  cool and particularly light for your ethnicity

You suit the lighter colours in the Summer Palette. Light Summer’s most suitable colours are Silvery and pastel colours such as soft blue or medium grey.  Teal, plum or even a light cocoa – but do not try anything warmer than that as this can give the appearance that your skin is orange.

MOST SUITABLE COLOUR: The colour that suits you the most is Pale Lavender.

 

SOFT MUTED SUMMER

Your Characteristics:

EYES: green > grey blue > hazel > golden brown

HAIR:  neither light nor dark

SKIN: cool, but there is little contrast between skin, hair and eyes. Your overall colouring is close to neutral

You are best suited to the soft and muted colours in the Summer Palette. Soft and Muted Summer's best colours are: Soft summer shines in the muted shades of grey, and blue based colors, dusky pinks and lavenders and even rose brown or light navy as the perfect neutrals.  You look better in white than ivory but need to keep your clothes and makeup low contrast.
